Coming soon-ish

The Last Whisper, my third novel, is now in second draft. It’s a contemporary noir adventure.

The Butler City (IA) Fire Chief, also recently elected as County Sherriff, decides to get out of town for a few days, with no particular destination in mind. He ditches his old phone, grabs some available cash, trades his beloved truck in on a nondescript sedan, and heads south.
